Green Practices
IBG FULFILLMENT was the first wine fulfillment company to make green practices a priority. IBG FULFILLMENT has built ecologically friendly systems upon its already paperless facility to increase energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint. IBG FULFILLMENT measures its continual ecological conservation on three qualifications:
Green solutions contribute to IBG FULFILLMENT’s overall fulfillment service by serving the greater purpose of shipping in addition to reducing the carbon footprint. For example, IBG FULFILLMENT’s completely paperless fulfillment center benefits the entirety of IBG FULFILLMENT’s shipping operation in productivity as well as environmental efficiency.
Solutions that not only help the environment but reduce costs qualify for this category. Improvements such as ceiling and wall insulations reduce unwanted temperature fluctuations resulting in less money and energy spent on air conditioning or heating.
IBG FULFILLMENT’s target goal is to become completely energy efficient and in order to do so the practices we put in place have long term positive effects for the environment. IBG FULFILLMENT’s use of fluorescent light bulbs efficiently converts more input energy into visible light resulting in the light bulbs lasting 10-20 times longer than incandescent lights.
